Even the flight ticket is getting higher, the petrol price is up and down, but I have to say, I love this trip. I got what I paid for. The seat won't bend backward when you try to sit comfortablely. Your space is secured. The in-flight-entertainment is much more fun than usual. I can't sleep in flight, so it was nightmare to me. But with this new plane, I can have movie, TV drama, Game...etc selection for 13 hours. It could be paused or fast forward or backward anytime. On the way to AMS, I was watching CSI, House..etc, and I couldn't finish before landing. On the way back, as you can see what I am playing. We find this plug on the seat but we won't dare to try. Perhaps, next time, we can try it out and give a report. I love this plane, 13-hour flight is no longer nightmare to me!!!

While Christmas dinner is on its way, that turkey really takes time to cook, girls figure out what to do during the waiting hours. This spining game is really working well with alcohol. OMG, the room is really spining around. Oh, that's really fun.

We have lots of presents from Santa, we must been good for the year. Santa loves us. As tradition, we all give a little hand in kitchen. Tina and Gene do most of the job and take it easy on Christmas day. See that big guy - turkey? It's a good deal and it is tasty! Gene and Ian work well and we enjoy every bite of it. Of course, we still can't make Ian eat any sprout, believe me, it's delicious. Even Emily eats the sprout with no doubt. The roast potato is so yummy with goose fat. OMG, it's a real dinner!

Merry Christmas everybody! Santa had visited us and kept going on his trip around the world. We hope they enjoy the snack which girls prepared early on. And yes, we are in "Mama Mia" mood. The movie is on and the soundtrack is on. We are dancing & singing Abba songs over and over again. (all of us) Right after the Dancing mood is off, we head to Ian's room. Hannah & Emily give Ian a big surprise which is jumping on him to be a sperious morning call. The weather is good, about 5, I guess. And we have sunshine, yappy! Let's prepare Christmas dinner, but before that, a big fried Irish breakfast will be a good start for Christmas day!

Hey, we are back to DUB airport and we are all tired. See, we switch back to autumn mood. Be honest, it's a bit cold, even with my jacket and sweater on. However, I really enjoy this family holiday. All Uncles and Aunts, from Coffey or Kavanagh, DC and I only see them in Christmas morning. Because of Da's wedding, we have opotunity to spend a holiday with both family and get to know them. It meant something. Thank you guys, making this holiday a great memory. Now, it's my turn to make this happy memory stay longer. It won't be on blog only, but also on my spaces album and I'll print the pics out too. Just wait and see! Again, thanks guys, for everything!

Sitting in waiting room for a flight is no fun and Noel finds out where the outdoor sitting area where can smoke. Of course we all head up to it. Actually the First choice even prepares sandwiches and bottle of water coz some of us haven't eatten yet. Here, again, I see the problem. Since we start this holiday, we are lucky enough to be covered by tour organization. Although they do their best, but it's a family holiday ppl take. They come with family and sometimes, they come with little one - the one don't take a seat or a bed. When they prepare meals, they don't count the little one in. Image the little one get hungry or tired, that can be handful, for parents and for the rest of guests. But here, I also see the good side of IE culture. Maybe ppl don't know each other, but when this kind of things happen, ppl keep an eye on the little one. It's so sweet and touch. I don't know what would it'll turn out if it happened in TW.
While we are waiting for the flight, Coffey starts to play cards, I have no clue at all. I was told that they used to play on Saturday and Nanna Coffey used to walk around their back and did some funny face or sign or said something. It's intersting to hear the story like this, make Nanna Coffey back in life, not only on the family trees.
Finally, the plane landed. Thomson plane has the smallest seat I have ever been sit on. However, we sit in and it meant we are going home! Back to DUB! In 3 hours!!! The holiday is over!

Can you image 4 coaches check-in in the same time? Yes, Kaosk. We are lucky to be in the first arrived. But also meant, stay longer... It's like the domestic airport with minimum activity and also I have passport & visa issue AGAIN. The senior supervisor is really helpful to double check my passport and visa. But I was OS in my mind that I have been to more than 20 countries with that passport and I don't think I would have any visa problem ahead. However, I just let her go on. It takes hours to get 300+ to check-in. Most of ppl are not aware of luggage overweight and lucky them it's a 3-hour flight. 10 Euro per kg. Althought they are not expected this happened, but it does happen. I see a man paid 100, wow, he must have done some shopping on the beach then. Well, I did a little bit but I controled well, so still in the limit.
The tiny little duty free provides limited selection and the only thing can be interested by DC would be smoke. It's cheaper in Spain than IE. The price for a pack is like: 6 Euro (270NTD) in Spain, 8 Euro (360NTD) in DUB and 70 NTD (1.5 Euro) in KHH.

We have received the notes that we would leave the hotel earlier (10AM)than schedule (5PM). I do mind my 2 missing holiday (one day on depature and one day on the way back). But I guess I can't be picky after those airline companies or holiday tour organizer bankrupt or still hanging there. The First choice manages to get a plane to fly us back to DUB. So, we are saying good bye to Spain. Back to little bit cold DUB. Lucky me, wash the sweater while I was able to.
Da and Mags are staying one more week. They need a break from family holiday, it's their honeymoon, no kids like us around. Yes, it's perfect ending for family holiday. Too shame to leave the sunshine warm place like this. We are coming back for a holiday on our own for sure, maybe bring Ian for company. After all, Ian knows how to order food and he is good. I know I haven't put on any food pics, coz I was busy to eat and drink. Tapas, Cynthia, I ate a lot of tapas for you, remember that. But, drink, no thanks, I stay with red wine. The wine is cheap here, cheaper than DUB and KHH. The most interesting thing I found out was: Order a large red wine and it's a big glass with half bottle of red wine in. No kidding, I saw the bartender pulled in. Wine is cheap and no headache next morning.

Yes, once again, we sit outside of this cozy Irish bar and sing those songs (delicated to Mr. & Mrs. Coffey, two days old). We are heading back to cold wet DUB tomorrow. Da & Mags are going to try for staying another week. Well, they need a break after wedding and all those mass drinking nights with us...

The holiday is nearly over and boys haven't been to beach. Here we are. Feed the boy with pie, see his happy smile?! Very excited! Since they take off kidney, he hasn't smile again. Now, look at the satisfied face. Now, I can get him on beach, he's fully charged. We enjoy the quiet moment, just walk down the beach to Irish bar. See how Irish we are, bar bar bar.

I like this Irish bar, outdoor and enough space for a big family gathering like us. Breda starts to sing and then takes turn. Be honest, guys, you are fabulous!
