Mia takes us to her friend's food stand. It's kind of Tainan taste and with so many favours. I love the soup, prepared in traditional way with pot, the rib soup with bitter melon. Normally I won't eat bitter melon, but I can eat this one, no problem. The side dishes are (from left to right) stewed cabbage, stewed bamboo and stewed tofu. It's simple, but it's so tasty and it's so cheap. It is not in big portion, but in the afternoon, this is enough for us to go on for another few hours.
I miss this chopped tomato served with thick soy sauce with ginger and plum powder. It's speciality from the South. I can eat two plates of tomato with this sauce, no problem.
