Thursdsay night, DC got a phone call from Ian that Mags was knocked down by a van in Spain. It's about dinner time, I was holding Duncan and watching Daniel. Now, I could put myself into Mom's shoes. We were worry but there was nothing we could do. Finally, an hour later, DC could reach Da and Mags later thru hotel line. After talked to them personaly, we felt relieved.

Da was taking Mags' photo in a square and that van came out of nowhere. The driver got lost and reversed with speed without checking. Voila! Da took a photo of Mags and while he was checking photo, he heard the sound of knock down and emergency brake. Mags was under that van. I could image Da's shock and Mags' pain. They are alone in Spain, no one speaks English around. They were supposed to go back to DUB on that day, but now, it depends on Doctor. Mags got a broken ankle and her leg was fully covered by bruise. She must had a guarding angle beside. Thanks God! We pray for her recovery and Da's health!

What surprised us was the medical system and police officers. This accident happened beside Police station, so many people witnessed it happened. Policemen were helpful and when they got into hospital, no one could speak English. SO, Da got a translater in. After they finished with hospital, they returned to hotel. They got a doctor out for 60 Euro by case, which is much cheaper than DUB. The doctor will visit them everyday for injection. Da said the medicine only costed 55 Euro. He said it's cheaper than DUB. Wow, but however, they are lucky enough. We are glad that they are fine now. Poor Mags, she is still in the same room but different feeling now. I hope she can take it easy, pray for her!!! Da, I wish all the best to him, hope they can return DUB asap. They will need family attention. God bless!
