When DC is doing his inventory in bookstores, we take a half day in NTU where my Dad graduated from. It's been a long time. Strong impression is in library. Otherwise, old building with new division or it has new building on. Some of Dad's classmates did serve in NTU and they are retired too. In new Veterinary Medicine Department building, there is all new faces. Somehow, Dad feels he's a stranger here. We can't image how he made it here, a boy from the South of nowhere, made his own way to the top of education system. Dad's first pair of shoes was when he was in senior of junior high school. That pair shoes were present from Dad's teacher in primary school who suppored him all the way. Before he starts to make his own money, he never fell fully (out of hunger). That's also why there are certain food he will NEVER eat since, those food won't appearl on my Dad's table. This morning, my parents are happy to show Daniel their past. OMG, I forget the sunshine is so strong here, SUN BURN!!! So badly!!!
After the memory trip, we go to Grandma's kitchen. Let my parents try different breakfast. Mom loves the omelette. Dad still goes for German knuckle. Chris and Mia enjoy their brunch. Even Daniel eats so much, this guy is getting picky on food now. After this big brunch, we pass by the park on the road. Daniel won't let go easy when he sees the playground. And then, we can't find our car coz it is towaway... bad luck!!! I did think it was national holiday! Lucky me, Dad is in good mood, fed & back in memory, not bitching at all.
Finally we are on our way home. On the high way, we see the rainbow on the left. Isn't it a good day!?!? How many chance we can see rainbow so close? What a day!
