TPE weekend-3

It's a good time to have friends around while holding a glass of wine. Sometimes, food and drink is just part of decoration; we keep talking and updating our life and gossip, such like what's new intern's name. I can't believe no one catch that guy's name. However, this intern is different than Marc and he has been to TPE already and he knows TPE well. We tried to fool Jerome and Clair, but I don't think we did a good job. However, I got the pic and her phone number, the rest, is up to Jerome. Jerome's Chinese colleague only came to TW few times but she has excellent time management, therefore, she has been to quite many TW tourist areas. See DC, he has been lived in TW for 4 yrs now and been to less than 5 tourist place. The only place he knows well would be NTU area where his bookstores are.
We haven't been to Carnegies for a long time. This visit is different than I thought, but still not bad. We have a laugh and good company - Alvin. I can't believe he never been there. I can't help to call Henry at midnight coz his song is on, Henry is in bed already but I want to wake him up. It's his song and we miss him so much! I can feel he wants to get into plane and rush back to join us! Ha, next time! Alvin can't dance but can drink, fun to drink with him. Carnegies is not too far away from his office and he never know this club, I can't believe it! But Carnegies has changed, the music is less in our taste and the food is still in big portion. I can't stop laughing how much trouble we bring to the waitress for a-la-carte something without onion, you know who's dinner will go to. However, it is a good night out! But we might find somewhere else with our music on.
Something here to say. Cynthia attends a wedding this morning and we realise how nice my in-law to us. I deeply appreciated their corperation and understanding my pressure to get over this wedding stuff. Although I tried to get my in-laws with my friends who speaks a bit English, but sometimes, my friends won't be able to let them know what's going on during wedding or reception. My wedding was like me, rush rush rush! Always something little missing in last minute and panic and then whatever, get over with it. I felt bad to let Ian & Steven & Crona sit so far away from us but I was gladful to have Amanda, Alex, Candice and Michael to help out; although they were busy to eat and forgot to take pic during reception. I was gladful that my in-laws understand and respect my culture and background; so we didn't need to do extra work like preparing knives & forks or have an English speaker follow up whole day or personal tour organizer.... Cynthia's friend has a hard time on this to prepare for her in-laws and a lot of favours to ask around. She even asked Cynthia when she deliveried her wedding invitation; I guess she got a cold feet coz that question souldn't be in her mind at all. I am so glad to have such great in-laws family and so many good friends, and, of course, my dearest love one - DC! Thank you all, being so nice to me and not pushing me at all. And of course, I do remember that I own you all the pics even after 2 yrs now...
