As you seen, this free bag is provided by AMS International airport. It has ruled what and how much passenger can carry on in hand luggage. Suggest you to click in and see enlarge version. It's very nice and friendly to serve travellers. Also they do have airport stuffs wearing light yellow vest and asking travellers to be prepared for tide security on this issue. As you can see in the 2nd pic, there is a big bin to let you help yourself, in case, you need to give up something. It's better you do it than watch the other to do it in front of you... I still remember that moment when the CDG airport security officer throwed my duty free shopping into bin... still hurts...
