We go into town - DUB to celebrate DC's 40th birthday. He doesn't get chance to drink with family since we stay in Blackrock. So, we decide in the last minute to take train and met up with family. On the way to train station, we are stuck in traffic, people come into Dundalk for Christmas shopping. We are wondering if we could make it or should take next train which is 2 hours later. While we arrive the train station, the train is on platform and ready to go. The railway officer sees us coming in and holds the train for us. We ask him if we need to buy the ticket in office and he says we could buy it on train. So, we run as fast as we could and make it on platform. The officer on train says no to us that we couldn't buy the ticket on train. This train s from North Ireland. However, he is really nice to let us go on. Yapi, we save two one-way-ticket. That's our early Christmas gift.
In town, I get my first Shrama where DC took me while I was in DUB first time. My goodness, memory is better than it tasted now. However, we are glad to stay in town and meet up with family. DC tries to call some of them and sees what's up with them. M. Coffey is back and clear which we should drink for her. Therefore, H won't come out, understandable. Luke and Niamh should be proud to have a smart kid - Sean who dares to stand up and speak loud. There is an interview on Christmas day, we will film it. Eddie is happy with new place and 5 kids keep him busy. I guess his 3 girls grow up and he is in defence position now. A sweet daddy, a tough apperance but soft heart. Anyway, in the end, only Dad shows out but an hour late coz of public transportation problem. This year, the Garda is very strick on "Drink and drive". However, it's better way to keep it like this, so we can enjoy our night more. Fallons has new bartenders - two female. Although I haven't been in Fallons for a year, but, the royal customers are still there. I am surprised when Dad comes in, he could say hello to most of people. Those young generation staying in this neighbourhood comes in for a drink in their pops' old local bar. That's so sweet, Coffey is here, like the old time.
