Happy Birthday Taiwan

It's TW's birthday but it doesn't go well today. The birthday party is interupted. A true democracy allows free speech. But I start to wonder if it puts us in dangerous. My parents are in National Taiwan University Hospital which is in the traffic control zone where is occupied by KMT & PFP politician and those faithful followers. We worry over parents' safety and health. Those ppl block the road and make this trip to hospital became more difficult and complicated. They parad up and down the streets in red T-shirts and the super loud sound truck drive srounding hospital. For God's sake, it's a hospital with over 1000 patients who need to take a rest. For the worst, they come into hospital and I believe they had already split the asociety into "thumbs-up & thumbs-down". As President said:"I felt sad that today in our society people have replaced reconciliation with animosity. We should recover love and forgiveness as they can make us cherish our hard-earned democracy and return social stability."
Until midnight, those ppl are still on the street and won't put their volumn down. Now, I feel sorry for Ceaser hotel & Sheraton hotel, they are the first victims by this protest. If I were those guests, I would choose somewhere safe and no noise. Who won't? After all, we need to live and to work, don't we? I feel sorry for Cynthia that she needs to work extra hard to get those lost back in 3 months or she might loose her job or salary or bonus. She is good at her job and she loves to work in hotel like me. But the sales target is getting higher and the current situation is not helping. Even after work, she won't drink more than 2 glasses coz she might get a call and go back to stand by.
It's Cynthia's birthday, we celebrate with a bottle of red wine and girl talk. In some way, we are so alike. I can see myself in young Cynthia sometimes. Let's give her our best wishes. Happy Birthday, Cynthia & Taiwan!
