Wedding process-1

After the wedding proposal had been deliveried, back to KHH, we found another problem on phone conversation. My goodness, Mia's Dad wasn't informed about court house. Her Dad is a typical Taiwanese and Mia is the only daughter. Of course, he wants to make it a special day and invite his relatives and friends. But in second thought, he agreed to invite relatives only. But we still haven't go into details. However, the outlines are done until I called Chris. My goodness, no one dare to tell Mia's Dad; so my parents are going to TPE again to explain this. Well, it could be rude for Mia's Dad, but I went to court house for wedding, not big deal! Anyway, Mia's Mom is in KHH for holiday, we are going to have girl's talk. TW wedding is unlike in western, it contains both families.

Coz I didn't have traditional TW wedding, so I wasn't picked up from home. It was my favourite part of TW wedding, but also I don't agree the meaning behind; so we avoided it. In traditional TW wedding, bride wakes up in the morning, takes shower and wear new underwear bought by groom (meant from head to toe, she will belong to groom's family,not daughter in this house). She will roll 3 hard boiled eggs from head to toe and take off the shelves (meant reborn, not longer a girl). A meal will be prepared, the family and sisters or female single relatives will have meal with her (meant the last meal in this house, this family; as a daughter). After couple hours dress up, put on make up and do the hair, she is ready to put on the white veil by bride's Mom (meant Mom's last time to dress up daughter). When the groom's limousine groups (normally 6 or 12) are arriving, the firecrackers will be light up. The bride maids will try to stop groom entre the room until they receive a red envelope contains 999 dollars (meant long marriage or life). Groom will put down the white veil and take her into living room. Bride's parents will sit on chair and accept new couple kowtow on bended knees (meant thank for raising her up and all the things parents have done for her). When father supports bride up and holds her hand with groom's hand (meant father passes the responsibility to groom), I can never see it happen on me.(@.@) On the way out of house, bride will be taking by a female relative who has good life: a perfect marraige life with a son and a daughter) and the lady will hold a bamboo sieve on above bride's head (Bride is in her important day and she will be more important than the God, bamboo sieve will avoid her shining power). Before bride enters the limousine, a boy will bring a paper fan to bride. On the way out, it's forbidend to say "Good bye". She will sit into limousine in one movement (meant no doubt on marriage life). Bride's Mom will throw a bowl of water and some rice and wheats (meant she is like the water, never return to this family; they hope she will have enough food to support her and her new family). Bride will throw the fan when limousine starts the energine (meant she won't bring her bad temper to groom's house). See the reason I don't like it now? That's why I don't have it and I am still here with my family!!! Kick ass!
