Quitting dummy project - 2

Joan made up her mind, we can't tantalize Daniel. So if he asks for dummy, we should give him the dummy right the way. Anyway, it's her decision, we just do what we should do. But Grandma is nagging her all the time, very noisy. In my family, we are trained to quit dummy or napkin around 12 months old, the latest will be 18th months old. Daniel is new experience for us. He is the first boy in 4th generation of Lin's family; he is Mark's first son, My dad's first grandson. Although Daniel is not the first grand grandson in the family, but coz of my Dad's first grandson, so Daniel is like my Dad's 3rd son in Chinese saying. Therefore, my parents insiste to have the same training on Daniel like us. It's difficult for Joan to understand our family role; after 2 yrs, she still can't fit in.
