Dear friends and families,
I guess most of you have known we stuck in DUB today. What happened was KLM didn't have notice from TPE that ticket would be changed into 2-month period and we agree to pay the different. Therefore, when we went to Aer Lingus ticket agent at 10AM (6PM in TPE), the ticket was expired 10 days ago. KLM won't take us unless we pay @1800 Euro per person for economy class. You can image how angry we were but it's useless. For sure, we tried until the last minute, we send the flight off and we stuck in DUB airport. The ticket Agent-Babara, she was sweet, taking us for 2 hours and got so many hassle from KLM. Even KLM stood her up on phone for 37 minutes, she was trying on 2-3 phones and all of them put her on hold for ages. KLM could do this to their partner-Aer Lingus, so we have been paying more than 50 Euro on phone bill to call KLM helpline, I can't think back how much I paid on Skype to phone KHH travel agent and KLM TPE. I don't want to think about the phone bill but I still can hear when KLM TPE complaint my phone line wasn't clear, so they put me on the side and keep chatting with their co-worker or whatever when I was painic to make phone line clear or make them be able to hear me... I was so helpless and now still.
However, KLM in Amerstdam doesn't know what happened to us and they still believe we give up our ticket 10 days ago. Aer Lingus told them we have INCAD and it didn't help. I can't believe an international airline company would rather to put chickenpox patients on long distant flight and let worst thing happen. What if we were around preganent woman? What if we were around old people who never have chickenpox? We might pass chickenpox over to them and course inmature baby or death. KLM would take the chance! Surprise! Because we didn't take the chance, so we have to pay the price to go home with one way ticket. That's KLM's policy. I can't believe what I heard today, and I think I better prepare to listen to them tonight at 2AM again. But again, I do the right thing. We do the right thin. We didn't put anyone near us in dangerous. We keep everyone safe, even we don't know them. We do the right thing!!!
