Da, you see how we are now. After 1-day pills, the red spot still keeps pop out on me, but DC has stop. Also, I can see healing up on him which is good news. We can't sleep coz spot on the back is full fluid and hurts. Actually, it's not itchy but uncomfortable for us. We have to keep an eye on DC, caught him scratching a couple of times. DC also has blisters spread to his throat and chest causing bad cough and sore throat. I have been a good girl, no scratching at all.
Dear IC has been very generous to us by taking care of us, keeping an eye on medicine, giving support, keeping us company. Tks, love, we owe you big time.

Um...I can tell that DC got a pretty bad case of chickpox breakout. Luckily, he is getting better. Van, hate to tell you this but...when I had my chickenpox, they were "everywhere", yes, I mean "everywhere"...including my private parts (one nipple too)..imagine that, hahahah~
However, I had very few blisters on my legs and none in my throat or mouth, they were mostly on my upper body, they were not that itchy in the beginning, they got itchier later....I was nake mostly at home at the time, hahahah~
In fact, I went to the hospital after I discovered my 1st blister on my lower back, the drug really controlled my chickenpox break out in the early stage, so...my breakout wasn't as bad as DC's.
Hang in there, it at least takes a week or more for all the blisters dry up.......depends on how many you have.... just have to be patient and rest as much as you can. Add oil~
The thing is DC doesn't trust drug, therefore, we went to see Doc 30 hours after I found my blisters on my neck. Well, even I don't have them everywhere, but I do have more serious problem then you, yes, most of them are down there. It hurts when I move around, now I walk like a cowboy. DC warms me that Calamine lotion doesn't work there, so I can't use them.(@_@)\\\
Tks, we will add oil. We should be fine on 23rd, Travel agent is fighting for us to KLM TW. We cross fingers and touch wood to see if we can be at home for Chinese New Year.
Try these
if you can find them there~ Or just some kind of anti-itchy cream....that should help...Drink tons of water...flush out those virus.... Chickenpox is worse on adults than on kids. Whoo......
Tks girl. It's really helpful. I will send Ian out to find it.
Just cook a pork rib stock. That's for us for 2 days. Time goes slowly.
By the way, bravo to DC's decision for not getting on the plane, it's an ethical thing to do. Also, I am not sure if the airline will let you get on the plane with early stage of chickenpox.
Before your chickenpox blisters are oozed away and dried off....it's still contagious....some people might get chickenpox from you guys or shingles (if they already had chickenpox) if you do get on the plane. ^.^
Welcome, yep, time goes kind of slowly when we are sick....try to find something to keep yourself busy.. Time for my lunch, take care~ :-)
