Burdocks

Our favourite Fish & chips shop - Burdocks. The only chipper keeps its own recipy (deep fried in lard) without too much unnecessary "health"concerns. Guess how I find the way to the shop? SMELL! The smell of batter was covered by couple blocks. Once you try, you stay with it forever. One more tip, do ask for some crispy batter crumbs, they taste so good, so crunchy! The portion is big and it's 7.5 Euro, therefore, I always ask for help to finish up. My favourite is fresh cod and DC prefers smoked. Bon appetite!

Friday is a big day for chippers. In the old time, catholics didn't eat red meat on Fridays. Therefore, people used to eat Fish & Chips. It's Friday night, people go out for drink. So, Fish & Chips is easy and save womens time in the kitchen.
