X'mas dinner

After the X’mas meeting, we were back to Da’s house. Got into door, I could smell the blue cheese, my goodness, it made me hungry. On the table, it was a chesses selection board and cold meat board too. Mag was going to spoil us. She got this Seprono (like Parma) Spanish dried ham, yummy! Mag has prepared a roasted beef (with bone) and lamb. Da did the last touch – seasoning before send them into preheated oven. Meanwhile, we had 4 hours to chat or get drunk. Yes, DC had a good time with red wine before dinner is served. DC got a good reason to drink, coz he is with his family, he is under his roof now. When he tried to call kids in TN, which didn’t go through and made him more desperate to talk to kids. After 3 hours trying and 8 messages on voice mail at TN’ house, ex-in-laws’ and voice mail on mobile phone, DC finally started to put himself together and join us for X’mas dinner.
It was a feast; we got roasted beef and lamb, boiled peas, carrots, asparaguses, baked celeries and two kinds of potato – mashed / baked. The dinner took hours to prepare and gone in an hour. During dinner, we were talking about Fallons. 15 years ago, it was forbidden to see woman drink in pub. Woman would drink in Lounge where is beside pub and no woman could have a pint neither. Fallons was like the other local pubs, only local customers could have a key to get into Fallons. The door was lacked all the time. Therefore, you only can get into Fallons with some locals or someone in Fallons knows you. While we were talking, it was amazing how much we could eat. The meat was perfect, tks to Da and Mag to provide this great meal. We had a great X’mas dinner!!!
