Part of the Market Square with the Cloth Hall (right). The Cloth Hall in the middle of the square was founded in the second half of the 13th century. Today it also contains numerous stalls selling souvenirs and folk craft items.
Cloth Hall, the fromer covered market in the central part of the Main Market Square, dating back to the Middle Ages. The building was refurbished in the Renaissance style after the fire in 1555 and throughly renovated in the 19th c. with Jan Matejko as one of the designers.
