Canadian thanksgiving

This is my first time of thanksgiving. Totaly no idea what's going on. Margrate has started to prepare this thanksgiving dinner since previous night, soup, main course, desserts. Well, we don't have turkey but we do have fatty goose and ham. Margo, the piano teacher is off early, so she just makes it on time for dinner. Derik and Hai-ying come from Peterborough, kids love to see them. Actually, Kimka is talking about to go to China when she is 14-yr-old. So now on, she studies Chinese and gets more practises. I don't think she will have problem with food coz Chinese is high-fat cooking for a long time, plus we don't use so much salt. About high-fat diet, the only adjudegement I need to do is the amount of rice. My cooking way is high fat already, we take lots of vegetable in TW coz it's fresh. The source of carb is rice and sugar stuff, like cake, drink etc. So, it's easy to control it. However, we are not that kind of cake eater, so it works fine for us.
Talk about cakes and donuts, we do take lot less sugar than in USA/Canada. Remember Mr. Donut in TPE? The donut shop I have queued up for 1-hour to get David's donut. But compare with donut shop here, Mr. Donut is great for high-fat diet. Well, at least, it is fresh - it only stays for 48-hrs. Small quantity. Less sugar. Great for tea time!!!
